Airport receptions in China
Our staff will meet you at Beijing International Capital Airport
and will be holding an orange coloured SCIC sign. Immediately
you can start enjoying your Chinese experience, whilst our
staff provides a brief introduction to Beijing on the coach.
We will take you back to the Airport once the program has
finished. (Please send flight details at least 10 days in
advance, so the airport pick-up and drop-off can be arranged
on time).
Program briefing
Students will be given a comprehensive briefing session
on the second day. This will provide all the information about
your study program including a Beijing map, local map, Chinese
& English dictionary, timetable and emergency contact
numbers, plus the locations of amenities such as pubs, supermarkets
and post office.
Orientation
Students will be taken on a more extensive walking
tour of the campus and the surrounding areas, highlighting
campus and surrounding facilities, classrooms and administration
buildings, as well as the neighborhood so you can acquaint
yourself with the new surroundings and make the most of the
local facilities.
Name card and emergency contact card
Participants for this program will be provided a
personalized name card with your contact information and hotel
address in Chinese and English for your convenience. In case
of emergency, we also provide a card with the SCIC address
written in Chinese, and contact names and telephone numbers
of access SCIC staff
Medical assistance
Our programs include International SOS Membership.
This provides access to medical advice and assistance from
international doctors 24 hours a day, located in SOS alarm
centers throughout China and other countries.

Visa documents
An invitation letter and admission notice is required
to obtain a Chinese visa. These documents are provided by
the SCIC when enrollment has been completed and all program
fees have been paid. Participants attending this beginner
study program, up to 12 weeks, are required to apply for an
F (study) visa.
