1. Application
A) Application Form
The Application Form can be downloaded
here. Please email it to us after completion at: study@scic-beijing.com
B) Application Fees
An application fee of GBP ¡ê50 (UK Applicants) / EUR € 80 (EU
Applicants) / USD $100 (USA and other Applicants) should be
made when the application is confirmed. Please contact
us for payment details.
C) Copy of Applicant¡¯s Passport
In order to register a place in the study program, we need
a photo copy of the data page of the passport that shows picture
and passport number.
D) 8 color passport photos
Please send 8 color photos of passport size to us by mail
at: Room 2507, Building No. 127, Nanhuxiyuan, Wangjing, Chaoyang
District, Beijing 100102, P. R. China.
2. Enrollment
The enrollment form can be downloaded here. Please complete
the Enrollment Form and pay the Program Fee (see Payment below)
before the enrollment deadline. Make sure to read SCIC¡¯s program
information and Terms and Conditions before enrollment.
3. Payment (Application and Enrollment Fees)
Payments of the Application Fee and Enrollment Fee may be
paid in one of three ways; Bank Transfer, Bank or Cashier's
Cheques, or Money Order. Save the bank receipt and fax or
send it with the other documents as proof of payment.
SCIC is not responsible for any loss or misplaced payments
in the course of mailing. Personal checques are not accepted.
4. Visa
An Invitation Letter and Admission Notice are required to
obtain a student¡¯s visa. These documents are provided by SCIC
with the completion of enrollment and the payment of the program
fee.
A) Participants attending short term programs¡ªup to 12 weeks¡ªor
semester programs are required to apply for an F (study) visa.
B) Participants attending long-term programs up to 12 months
are required to apply for an X visa. To apply for the (X)
visa, students are required to submit the Admission Notice,
JW 202 Form and Physical Exam Record to the Chinese Embassy/Consulate
in the student¡¯s country.
Visas are issued by a PRC Embassy or Consulate in the student¡¯s
home country. Please bring the following documents to the
Embassy or Consulate:
Visa Application Form (completed)
Valid passport (Valid for a minimum of 6 months after the
return to home country)
Passport size photos
Relevant visa application fee
A copy of the Confirmation Form (JW 202 Form)
A copy of the Letter of Invitation
5. Arrival
Send a fax or email to advise the Program Advisor or the Beijing
Office of the flight details: date, time of arrival, airline,
flight number, and place of departure, so that we can arrange
for an airport reception. Please forward this information
no later than 10 days before arrival. Program Fees do not
include airfares.

6. Flights
Our programs do not include airfares to Beijing, China. For
more information please consult local travel agencies, or
search through the internet such as: www.expedia.com
