Xi¡¯an was one of the world¡¯s richest and most important cities and is still one of the most prosperous in China. With an extensive and rich cultural history, having been the imperial capital for 11 dynasties, its modern day fame extends from the world-renowned Terracotta Army unearthed and displayed here. The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century.   Shanghai

Shanghai is a vibrant, ever-changing city with a legendary history in the first half of 20th Century. Shanghai is an old city full of Chinese traditional culture. Shanghai also is a young metropolis full of energy and glamour. All the best of the Oriental and Western cultures interject here. It is becoming a world-renowned city for international economy, finance and trade. As the fashionable leader of China, Shanghai is ready to receive guests from all over the world.

  Suzhou --'Venice in the Orient'

This 2.500-year-old city is located beside Taihu Lake in southernmost Jiangsu Province. Visitors can get to the city by a one-hour train journey from Shanghai.  Its numerous rivers and canals, its many small bridges over flowing water, and its famous gardens combine to make Suzhou one of the most scenic cities in southeast China. Macao Polo thought it could rival his own hometown in Italy and called it "Venice in the Orient."

  Guilin (River City)

Guilin is located in the northeastern part of Guangxi, Guilin has long laid claim to having the most beautiful scenery in China. With its mild subtropical climate, it is a pleasant place to visit at any time of the year. In autumn, when the sweet osmanthus is in bloom, the fragrance of the blossoms pervades the air. The shrub grows everywhere in and around the city; the name Guilin, in fact, means ¡°forest of Sweet Osmanthus.

The area around Guilin is dotted with weirdly shaped karsts pinnacles that appear to have spring up straight from the ground. They look like elephants, camels, horses, lions, lotus, bamboo shoots, and even emerald hairpins. The city itself abounds in fantastic hills with spectacular caves. The best known of these are Reed Flute Cave (Ludiyan) and Seven Star Cave (Qixingyan), with their stalagmites and stalagmites of stroking shapes and colors.
