1. Apply for a course

A) Application Form:

please downloaded the application form here, and email it to martialarts@scicbeijing.com after completion. Alternatively, fill in the Online Application Form here, and submit it to us. We will send you a confirmation email once we have received your application.

Application Deadline:
1 week to 12 weeks course: 60 days before the course starts.
1 semester & 1 academic year course: 90 days before the course starts.



B) Application Fees & Deposits

An application fee of USD$100 and deposit of USD$500 must be made when the application is confirmed by us. Payments can be made in one of three ways; Bank Transfer, Credit Card or Paypal. For those who wish to transfer funds, please save the bank receipt and fax or send it with other required documents as proof of payment. SCIC is not responsible for any loss or misplaced payments in the course of bank transfer.

Please note: All application fee and deposits are non-refundable. In the event of program cancellation, one¡¯s deposit can be saved and used as deposit for any future SCIC study or travel programs by the paying party or the paying party¡¯s friends or family members. Please contact us for payment details.


C) Mail us the following documents to the address below:

-Completed Application Form
-Photocopy of payment receipt (for those paying through bank transfer)
-Photocopy of Applicant¡¯s Passport: (The page which shows your photo and data)
-Photocopy of applicant¡¯s latest academic diploma or certificate
-Eight colour, passport-size photos

2. Wait for application confirmation


Applications usually take two weeks to process from the day that the application documents are received. A confirmation letter of your application will be sent to you by SCIC Beijing once the application is accepted.

All visa documents, including University Admission Notice, required documents for visa application, invitation letter and other necessary documents will be posted to you

 


3. Apply for a China Visa

Apply for a Chinese Student visa once you have received all the documents above from us. Visas are issued by PRC Embassies or Consulates in your home country.

A) Participants attending programs in length of 12 weeks to one semester are required to apply for an F (Tourist) visa.
B) Participants attending programs in length of 1 academic year are required to apply for an X (student) visa.

-Visa Application Form (completed)
-Valid passport (Valid for a minimum of 6 months after return to home country)
-2
Passport size photos
-Physical Exam Record ( for those applying for 1 Academic Year Programs)
-Relevant visa application fee
-A copy of the Confirmation Form (JW 202 Form) (provided by SCIC Beijing)
-
A copy of Admission Notice (provided by SCIC Beijing)
-An official ivitation letter from SCIC Beijing

 


4. Pay final balance of your course fee

We will send you a payment form once you have received your Chinese visa. The final balance for your program can then be settled, preferably by bank transfer. If absolutely necessary you can pay your final balance on the day you arrive in China (if this is the case, we can only accept cash payments at this point).

 
Payment for your program can be made in one of three ways: bank transfer, credit card or cash payment (if paying by credit card, please be aware that there is a 4% extra surcharge). For security reasons if you are paying by cash, you can bring travellers¡¯ cheques into the country and convert them in any bank in China when you arrive. Please make sure to read SCIC¡¯s program information and the Terms and Conditions before making payments.
 



5. Book your flight to China

Our programs do not include airfares to Beijing, China. For more information please consult local travel agencies,or search for available flights through the internet at sites such as: www.expedia.com

6. Send us your arrival details

Email us your flight details: date, time of arrival, airline, flight number, and place of departure, so we can arrange for an airport reception. Please forward this information no later than 7 days before arrival.
