Three basic Chinese language lessons are arranged for Tai Chi students at the beginning of the course. This basic survival guide to Chinese is very useful and important for their stay in China.

As the most of the Chinese Sanshou/Sanda teachers do not speak English, this course is specifically arranged for foreign students to learn Sanda technical terms and sentences, as well as Sanda idioms in Chinese. In this way students can smoothly enter into classes, and understand the basics of the class.

We provide a training video of your chosen style, covering key points of study for future training and development. Once back home, this will provide you with a guide to your martial arts study, and is also a reminder of your time with us.

Weekly Social Activities:
A wide range of activities will be organized weekly, free of charge, throughout the total program in Beijing. These include a Peking Duck feast, Chinese Hot Pot night, karaoke, Chinese teahouse, Peking opera and souvenir shopping. Our dinners and social evenings are fun-filled events and are a great way to meet other people from all over the world.

Weekly Cultural Workshops: (only for courses in Beijing)
These are arts and cultural workshops based around subjects such as Chinese calligraphy, brush painting, Chinese medicine, traditional musical instruments, making Chinese dumplings etc. They present a unique opportunity for students to learn and experience some of China's traditional skills and crafts. All workshops are taught and demonstrated by professionals.

Beijing Sightseeings & Tours:
Specially arranged weekend tours provide an opportunity for students to discover Beijing's major historical and cultural attractions, including the Great Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City. In addition you will also get to watch the world-renowned Shaolin kung fu monks in performance.

Chen Village Trip:
Participants will visit Chen Jia Gou (Chen village), where Tai Chi originated. Students will have the chance to learn the original style of Tai Chi, focussing on Chen-style Tai Chi forms and applications, taught by famous Tai Chi masters.
