Profile of our Masters in Wudang Mountain and Shaolin Temple


Priest Tian Liyang

Master Tian was born in Shiyan Hubei Province. He started his Wudang Kung Fu training at the age of 10. He became as a Taoist priest in Wudang Mountain when he was 18 years old. Over the past ten years he has been invited abroad for teaching many times, and specializes in Wudang Tai Chi, Wudang weapons such as the Taiyi Sword and the Wuxin Bagua Broadsword. He is one of the instructors for SCIC Beijings courses at Wudang Mountain.

Priest Yuan Xiugang 

Master Yuan started basic physical training in Wushu at 7, and at 16 studied Shaolin Wushu for 3 years. In 1991 he was accepted as a disciple by the great Master Zhong Yun Long. Master Yuan is now a 15th generation disciple of the Wudang SanFeng Sect, and is skilled in Taiji, Qigong, Xingyi, Bagua, and meditation. He is one of the instructors for SCIC Beijings courses at Wudang Mountain.


Priest Chen Shixing

Master Chen's Taoist name is Shixing Chen. He was born in Yangxi county, Hubei provence, China. He is a 15th generation disciple of the Wudang Sanfeng Sect. He inherited the traditional Wudang martial arts of this famous mountain region and is a highly accomplished master of Wudang styles include Qigong, Taiji, Bagua, Xingyi, and Qinggong. He is one of the instructors for SCIC Beijing's Courses at Wudang Mountain.


Monk Shi Yongming 

Monk Shi is from Shandong Province. He started Shaolin Kung Fu training at the age of 7. After 15 years of hard training he became one of the best students in the Shaolin Erpo Kung Fu School in Henan. Over the past five years he has been invited abroad for demonstrations and teaching, and specializes in Shaolin internal styles such as Buddhist Qigong and Buddhist Meditation. He works for SCIC Beijing as a teacher at the Shaolin Temple.


Monk Shi Yonglin 

Monk Shi is a teacher at the Shaolin Erpo Kung Fu School in Henan province. He specializes in teaching Shaolin Kung Fu including animal forms such as Tiger, Crane, Snake, Eagle, Dragon, Monkey and Mantis. He also specializes in weapons such as Staff, Broadsword, Spear, Chain Whip, Rope Dart and Monkey Staff. He works for SCIC Beijing as a teacher at the Shaolin Temple.
