Profile of  Daoyin Teachers

The Daoyin teaching group includes Professor Zhang Guande, the founder of the Daoyin System, Professor Yang Bolong, the Director of the Daoyin Qigong Teaching and Research department in Beijing Sports University, Professor Hu Xiaofei, the Vice Chairman of the Daoyin Qigong headquarters in China, who has been teaching Daoyin Yangsheng for the last 32 years and lastly Teacher Yang Hui, the chief instructor on the SCIC Daoyin beginner's course.

Professor Zhang Guande

Professor Zhang was born in Tangshan, Hebei Province in 1932. He comes from a medical family background and graduated from the Wushu Department of Beijing Sport University in 1959. Since then he has developed an interest in the Chinese system of health preservation through exercise. Professor Zhang is the founder of the Daoying Qigong system and the Chief Director of Daoyin Department in Beijing Sports University. He works for SCIC Beijing as the technical advisor and teacher for the Daoyin Qigong Workshop.

Professor Yang Bolong

Professor Yang is the director of Daoyin Headquarter of China and one of the tutors for postgraduate students in Daoyin Yangshengong in the Beijing Sport University. He is also a national judge in Wushu and Daoyin Qigong and a member of committee of Chinese Qigong Association. He works as a Taiji teacher for the Beijing Sport University after the graduation in 1977 and has been invited abroad as a guest teacher for Qigong and Taijing teaching over the last 30 years. He has also published many books about Wushu, Taiji & Qigong, include the '7-Day Daoyin Exercise' and the 'Standardized Qigong Text Book'. He is also involved in the composition of many Qigong and Daoyin Forms. He works as a director of the Daoyin and Qigong course for SCIC Beijing.   

Professor Hu Xiaofei

Professor Yang graduated from the Wushu Department of Beijing Sport University in 1976 and is currently the Vice-Director of the Daoyin Headquarters in China as well as one of the tutors for postgraduate students in Taiji and Daoyin in Beijing Sport University. He is also the chief instructor of Taiji and Daoyin Union of the China Science Institute. Professor Hu is also regularly invited abroad for Taiji and Daoyin promotion and has taught over thousand students. He is the main Daoyin teacher for China Central Television and Beijing Television, and his published books include: 'The Imperial Qigong Methods', 'Qinglong Health Preventions' and '365-day Qigong Exercises'. He works as a technical consultant and instructor for SCIC Beijing's Daoyin and Qigong Course.   

Teacher Yang Hui

Teacher Yang Hui holds a Master level in Wushu and is a former professional Wushu athlete in Anhui Team. She graduated with a BA degree in Wushu Education from the Beijing Sport University in 1999 and since then has been working as Daoyin teacher at the Daoyin Headquarters in China. She is also one of the instructors for the Daoyin exercise program for China Central Television. Now she also works as a Daoyin teacher for SCIC Beijing's Daoyin and Taiji courses.

Professor Yang Yubin
Prof Yang is a postgraduate student with a Master's Degree in Traditional Sports and Daoyin from Beijing Sport University in 2006. He obtained high proficiency in Daoyin under the instruction of Professor Zhang Guande and Hu Xiaofei during his study period. After graduation he was appointed as an assistant instructor of Daoyin Teaching at the daoyin Headquarters in China. Now he works as a teacher for SCIC Beijing's beginner courses in Daoyin.
