Accommodation & Meals
SCIC Beijing offers two accomodation options: students' dorms at universities, institutes and martial arts schools, or 2-3 star hotels. Program fees will vary according to the accommodation selected.
SCIC Beijing makes all accommodation reservations and preparations prior to students' arrival. Students are guaranteed accommodation; however, early application is advised as accommodation is subject to availability. Accommodation starts the day before the program and ends the day after the program. For privacy and convenience, single room occupancy is recommended. Accomodation for extra days is subject to availability.
Students' dorm at universities or institutes
A university or insitute provides an ideal study and living environment and a well-equipped dormitory for both Chinese and foreign students. The campus of a Chinese university is quiet, clean and pleasent. There is a dormitory building for foreign students, and each en-suite room has standard furnishings, a TV, air-conditioning, a telephone and an internet connection. There is a public kitchen and a laundry on each floor and an internet and reading room available in free of charge.
Meals at universities or institutes
All university canteens offer single dish meals with rice for as little as 5 RMB (US$.60) per meal. Chinese restaurants on campus and in the local area offer meals for 10 - 20 RMB (US$2-4) per person. Western restaurants cost between 25 and 50 RMB (US$4 - 8) per person per meal.

Students' dorm at Shaolin and Wudang
The accommodation at the Shaolin Temple and Wudang Mountain is relatively simpler than the accommodation available in Beijing, but these schools provide a clean and fresh living environment and an ideal atmosphere for intensive Kung Fu training. There are new buildings available especially for our students. Double and single rooms are available, some with basic facilities in a traditional Kung Fu manner, others with air-conditioning, TV etc.
Meals at Shaolin Temple & Wudang Mt
Standard meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in both programs, usually Chinese style with a mixture of 5 to 6 dishes with rice or noodles.
