Tai Chi Softball (Taiji Rouliqiu) Course in China
SCIC provides a Tai Chi Softball course for both individuals and groups who are interested in learning a new Tai Chi exercise in China. Tai Chi Softball exercise was created based on the principle of Yin & Yang, and is played by using a specially made rubber racket and softball. It emphasises exercising every joint and muscle in the body, and has become increasingly popular among the senior people at parks and public places in China. It is easy and fun to play and is recognized as an effective exercise to prevent illness and cure shoulder, back and joint problems. If you are a Tai Chi Fan who intends to promote and teach this new exercise in your country, this is a great opportunity for you.

Training Venues & Facilities
Course are held at both the Indoor SCIC Training Center and the Exercise Ground of Temple of Heaven park. More Info >>
Training Uniform
Each participant will receive one training uniform and one pair of training shoes. Any equipment required, including rackets and softballs, will be provided for the duration of program.
Basic Chinese Language Classes
Three basic Chinese language lessons are arranged for students at the beginning of the course. This basic survival guide to Chinese is very helpful for students coming to China.
Technical Terms in Chinese
As the most of the Chinese teachers do not speak English, we have specially arranged a class that focuses on Tai Chi Softball technical terms and sentences. These lessons are very useful for students to smoothly enter into the course.
Study & Training Videos
We provide a training video of your chosen style, covering key points of study for future training and development. Once back home, this will provide you with a guide to your martial arts study, and is also a reminder of your time with us.

Study Chinese Culture & Arts
Our culture and arts workshops are a unique opportunity for our participants to learn and experience some of China's traditional skills and crafts. All of our workshops will be taught and demonstrated by professionals of each craft. The workshops will normally be held for one and a half hours on Wednesdays in the first four weeks of your course.
