Traditional Kung Fu Course
Come to China for a Traditional Kung Fu training course! Learn old family styles, animal imitation styles and secret fighting techniques. Our courses emphasize understanding the whole system of your chosen style, including basic fighting techniques, forms, applications, theory and history. Under the instructions and guidance of prominent masters both young and old students can pursue their chosen art in the country where it all began!

Course Duration: 1 week 2 weeks 4 weeks 8 weeks 12 weeks
Available Courses: Regular course: 20 classes per week in total (45 minutes per class) (Monday to Friday: 8 - 11am)
Intensive course: 30 classes per week in total (45 minutes per class) (Monday to Friday: 8- 11am / Monday / Wednesday /Thursday 3 - 5pm)

1. Bagua Theory, Form and Applications 2. Mantis Theory, Form and Applications 3. Chen Style Taiji Theory, Forms & Applications 4. Xingyi Theory, Forms and Applications 5. Tongbei Theory, Forms and Applications 6. Empty Styles: Baji, Fanzi, Drunken Style etc., 7. Animal Styles: Monkey, Eagle, Tiger, Snake etc. 8. Weapons: Rope-darts, Chin-whips, Double Swords, Double Hooks etc.
Masters & Instructors
Students will have the opportunity to learn and train under the guidance of some of China's most prominent Traditional Kung Fu instructors and past national champions. These coaches are highly experienced and dedicated to providing high quality training for all students no matter the level of skill - from total beginners to participants competing in national competitions. Training Venues & Facilities
Our training venues are equipped with indoor training halls, outdoor training grounds and a fully functional gym for weight and physical conditioning training. Other training facilities include mats, carpets and weapons. More info >>
Training Uniform
Each participant will receive one training uniform and one pair of training shoes. Any weapons required for learning will also be provided for the duration of the program.
Chinese Language Classes
Three basic Chinese language lessons are arranged for Kung Fu students at the beginning of the course. The basic Chinese taught in these lessons is very useful for students coming to China.

Classes on Kung Fu Technical Terms
These classes specifically focus on Kung Fu technical terms and sentences, as well as Kung Fu idioms in Chinese. These lessons are needed in order for foreign students to smoothly enter into Kung Fu studies and training, as most of the Chinese Kung Fu teachers do not speak English.
Study & Training Videos
We provide a training video of your chosen course, covering key points of study for future training and development. Once back home, this will provide you with a guide to your Kung Fu study, and is also a reminder of your time with us.
Trip to Shaolin Temple, Chen Taiji Village & Wudang Mountain
Our SCIC Travel Division provides a specially arranged trip for all martial arts students to discover the most fundamental locations for Kung Fu development and training. These places include the famous Shaolin Temple, the birth place of Taiji in Chen Village, Henan province, and the Taoist sacred mountain of Wudang. This is a great opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Chinese Martial Arts.

Study Chinese Culture & Arts
Our culture and arts workshops are a unique opportunity for our participants to learn and experience some of China's traditional skills and crafts. All of our workshops will be taught and demonstrated by professionals of each craft. The workshops will normally be held for one and half hours on Wednesday in the first four weeks of your course. Visit Historical Attractions in Beijing
Weekend tours are provided free of charge for both language and martial arts students. Tours provide students with the opportunity to discover famous historical and cultural attractions and explore some hottest contemporary attractions in Beijing. More Info >>

Accommodation
SCIC Beijing offers two accomodation options: students' dorms at universities, institutes and martial arts schools, or 2-3 star hotels. You can choose either a single room or a shared room. More info >>
