Welcome to SCIC China Martial Arts Courses

Are you interested in a Chinese martial art and want to study in China? We offer courses in Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Wushu, Sanshou and many others. Our courses cater for every level, from beginner to advanced. All our instructors are top-level with years of teaching experience.

All our martial arts courses take place in respected universities, colleges, and kung fu schools. We offer you the opportunity to train with professional teams and martial arts champions. Every program is designed to meet students' individual needs and requirements, and focus on both practice and theory. As well as regular class instruction, there is also after-class training and martial arts-related activities to provide you with a comprehensive experience of China and to help you progress in your chosen style. There are also opportunities to broaden your learning in China by studying Chinese medicine, language or a cultural subject such as calligraphy or music.

The martial arts (Wushu) or Kung Fu masters and instructors selected by SCIC specialize in each particular style of martial arts. Students will have the opportunity to learn and train under the guidance of some of China's top martial arts masters and past national champions. These masters and instructors are highly experienced and dedicated to providing high quality training for all students no matter the level of skill -- from total beginners to participants competing in national competitions. Martial Arts Courses in Brief:

Tai Chi Course
Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art that is primarily practiced for its health benefits. This course focuses on learning basic movements and studying new competition forms and push hands. More info>>

Daoyin Qigong
Daoyin is a newly developed internal exercise of breathing and gentle physical movements, which focuses on improving health through mental and physical training. More info>>

Traditional Kung Fu
Learn traditional Chinese Kung Fu such as Bagua, Xingyi, Mantis and Crane etc with authentic Kung Fu Masters. This course focuses on the forms and applications of each traditional style. More info>>

Wushu (Taolu)
Wushu (Taolu) is a standardized and nationalized Chinese sport based on traditional Martial Arts. The course aims to improve students' levels and learning new combinations and forms. More info>>

Sanshou /Sanda (Kick Boxing)
Sanshou is a modern form of full contact Chinese Martial Arts. The Sanda course focuses on teaching correct training methods and improving basic Sanshou techniques. More info>>

Kung Fu Course at Shaolin
Come to China for intensive Shaolin Kung Fu training and experience the hard life of Shaolin monks at the famous Shaolin Temple in Henan Province.  More info>>

Mulan Training Course
Mulan Quan is a modern exercise created specifically for women. Students are able to learn the whole system of this style, including hand forms, Fan forms, Long Tassel Sword etc. More info>>

Tai Chi Soft-ball Course

SCIC Beijing offers you the opportunity to design your own program, choosing from all our available styles, arts and locations. Want to study Wushu at Beijing Sports University for a month then spend some time at Chen Tai Chi Village or the legendary Shaolin Temple? Or focus on Sanshou for a while with some relaxing Daoist Qigong at Wudang Mountain to finish off?
